The Six Greatest Championship Rings of All Time

We've looked at the ugliest so by popular demand here are the six that are pretty damn cool.

#6 1990 Buffalo Bills
This one makes the list because it's got such a classic old-school style. By championship ring standards it's subtle and looks like the ones they gave out in the '60s and 'early 70s.

#5 2001 St Louis Rams
The Rams' horn logo is what made every other pro team want a cool helmet, so sticking it on a ring can never be bad – even though this doesn't look quite right.

#4 2009 Indianapolis Colts
With a nice inversion of the horseshoe logo this could pass for a Super Bowl ring. Which is perhaps what certain Colts try to do with it.

#3 2000 New York Giants
Love the current Giants logo. I was shopping in New York in 1998 and even though I'm not a fan of the team I really wanted a cap with their 'old' NY logo, as (re)worn during the 1994 season to mark the NFL's 75th anniversary. I couldn't find one but was very pleased that two years later the Giants went back to this design, as originally used from 1961-1975. And it looks great on this ring because it looks great almost everywhere.

#2 1970 Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys' star works perfectly on rings and this is no exception. It looks a lot like a Super Bowl ring and I love it.

#1 1980 Philadelphia Eagles
Where do I start? Perhaps the great use of the classy old Eagles logo? Or maybe the only diamond being the ball? Or the wonderful contrast with the kelly green? Let's just say it's all these things. If the Eagles ever win a Super Bowl the ring will never be as good as this one.
